Where It Began

In 1847, Ireland reached a turning point that carried its people, its craft, and its character beyond its shores.

From the ports of Cork and Dublin, ships departed along Atlantic routes toward Liverpool, New York, and Montreal. Families left with little certainty, yet carried with them something enduring - tradition, resilience, and the unmistakable spirit of home.

Irish whiskey of the time reflected that same movement. Barrels that once travelled oceans, sherry casks repurposed from European trade routes, were given a second life - quietly transformed into vessels of maturation. What crossed borders did not lose its identity; it deepened.

1847 Whiskey draws from that passage.

Matured in Oloroso sherry casks, it honours the maritime routes that shapes its character - creating depth, warmth, and generosity in every pour. Each batch is crafted with intention, shaped by history yet grounded in the present.

This is not a recreation of the past.
It is a continuation of it.

A year that changed Ireland.
A whiskey that remembers it.
